Every bottle that leaves our studio has been through 14 stability tests, 3 substrate adhesion checks, and a final review against our master color standards. We started Inkwala because we were tired of watching work fade — both literally and in spirit.
The name comes from the Swazi word for ink merchant — someone who travels to bring permanence to those who make things worth keeping.

Each batch ground to spec in our milling room. pH-stabilized. Viscosity matched to nib tolerance.

14 stability tests including UV accelerated aging, solvent resistance, and Munsell color verification.

Hand-filled in amber glass. Nitrogen-sealed. Every bottle carries a batch number and test date.
